Defect Card
Defect card are created by the operator to alert the
maintenance personnel on Equipment Mal function or failure.
This card is identified with reference of defect card no.
And the following are the various fields in Defect card
Defect No: It is a unique number and mandatory field. It can
accommodate up to Characters. Location: It is a combo box
item and shows all plant locations and the user has to
select where the equipment is located. Equipment Number: It
is a combo box item and it contains all equipment available
in the plant and the user has to select from it. By
selecting the equipment number the system automatically
displays the equipment description. Defect Description: The
descriptive of the defect observed is recorded in this
field. It can accommodate up to characters.
Department Issued By: The name of the department, which
has raised the defect card, is recorded in this field.
Date/Time: The date when defect raised is recorded in this
field. Person/User Raised: The person who has observed the
defect and raised will be recorded into this field. It can
accommodate up to characters. Priority: The defect card is
issued to department based on priority i.e. emergency, to be
scheduled. It is a combo box item and user has to select the
appropriate one. Department Issued To: The name of the
department to which this defect card was assigned is
recorded in this field.
Depreciation Details:
These Details give the current depreciation value of
each equipment with reference to the eq_no. Equipment No: It
is a combo box item and user has to select appropriate
equipment on which depreciation is calculated. Depreciation
Method: There are two types of methods in this package. It
is a combo box item and the user has to select the
appropriate one. In this form depreciation method is
calculated based on two types, which can be selected as
* Straight line and
* Diminishing method
Straight Line gives the current value, depreciation per
year based on original value, estimated life and scrap
estimated. Diminishing Method gives the current value, scrap
based on original value, estimated life per life and rate of
depreciation. Depreciation, current value and scrap fields
are disabled where there were automatically calculated by
specifying the related fields like original value, estimated
life, scrap estimated, etc.
Department Form:
This form gives you the details of the departments
working in the plant. The following form contains the
particular details Department No. It is unique and mandatory
field. By this you can identify the department. It will
allow the user up to 5 characters. Name: The user records
the name of the particular department in this field. It can
accommodate up to 20 characters. E.g. Mechanical,
Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil etc. Head of department:
Name of Head of the department will be entered in it. It can
accommodate up to 20 characters.
Phone No: Telephone number of Head of the department is
entered in this field. It will allow only numeric value Extn:
If any extension is available then user has to enter in it.
It can accommodate up to 3 characters. E-mail: User has to
enter if department has any mail_Id. It can accommodate up
to 30 characters. Fax: Fax no. is entered in it . It can
accommodate up to 25 characters.
Daily Operations
In this form daily operations done on a particular
equipment and keep track of all the details, and are
explained briefly below Equipment No: It is a combo box item
it contains all equipment's available and the user has to
select the appropriate one. Worker Id: It is a combo box
item, it contains the entire employee ids and user has to
select the appropriate worker id working on that equipment.
Start Date Time: It is a mandatory field and unique it gives
when that equipment was started. End Date: At what date that
equipment was stopped will be recorded in this field. End
Time: At what time that equipment was shutdown will be
recorded in this field. Start Meter Reading: Meter reading
at the time of start of that equipment. End Meter Reading:
Meter reading at the time of shutdown of that equipment.
Shift Number: Generally there will be 4shifts and user has
to enter in which shift equipment is running. Supervisor:
Name of the Shift Supervisor will be entered by the user in
this field. Remarks: At the time of work or at shutdown time
if any suggestions are required will be recorded in this
field.
Employee Availability
The employee availability comes under Man Management
Module where Simple MMS discusses only the list of all the
employees based on their skills. It is connected to database
.It consists of Name: full name of the employee is entered
by the user.
Emp No.: The identification number of an employee is
entered by the user.
Description: the descriptive part of the above field is
entered by the user.
Location: where employee is placed in that organization
is entered here. Dept_Id: to the concerned department to
which he is authorized to work. Shift: In which shift he
normally works. Equipment Category: This form gives details
of each category of equipment, type and whether it is
critical or not. In this form we have to mention the
category of that equipment and its description. In this form
we have the following fields which are explained briefly as
below Equipment Category: It is a mandatory field and should
be unique in order to keep track of its details. In a plant
we classify the equipment according to usage or type. It can
accommodate up to 20 characters. Description: It is
descriptive of the above field and it is up to 50
characters. Equipment type: It is a combo box having two
options i.e. Rotary, static whichever is suitable that can
be selected.
More number of categories can be defined by the user.
Critical: In order to tell you whether it is an important
category in the plant. It is checkbox field to be specified
by the user if it is a critical one then check the checkbox
otherwise uncheck it. Dimensions: the general measurements,
which come under this category, are given under this tab. It
contains following fields Length, Height, Width, Weight,
Diameter they can accommodate up to 25 characters.
Example: = length 320ft, width 230ft, height 250mts
Parameters: the general parameters, which fall in this
type, are taken in this tab. The following are the fields
