DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE

Executive Summary

       The Package deals about the management of a Diagnostic Centre. It takes care of the Patient oriented details, Departments, Investigation, Sub-Test, Normal Ranges, Prescriptions and Patient’s Result values.

       This is a PC based GUI application developed with RDBMS database engine on MS-Windows 95 environment.

Introduction

       The Package deals with the Patient oriented details like Prescription, treatment details about the patient, Billing Details for the corresponding Investigations and also maintains history of the patients.

        It also maintains Department wise Investigations and Sub-test with its corresponding Normal ranges. It can also maintain various Price List depending upon Companies. Patients are classified depending upon their origination i.e. from HCL Company or from CDR Hospital.

         Payments, Receipts, Dues and Daily Reports are maintained Prescription wise, Patient wise, Company wise and Hospital Wise. The System also helps us in maintaining Appointments of Consultant Doctors, Patients and Departments.

         The Package also deals with the generation of different types of reports like Daily Report where the day to day transactions are Shown, Dues list which gives a report regarding the dues which are to be paid by the patient, Reports for the various tests conducted on the Patients etc.

• Software even shows more detailed information if asked for the selected doctor and his specific refereed patient list, further to that it also show each patient prescription with a click of a button.
• Department wise workload, in terms of patients and in terms of tests conducted over a period of time, and also amount contributed to the organization. This is also available on graph.
• Test wise statistics showing number of patients and amount collected for a selected department or for all departments.
• Comparison of charges:
• Report showing List of patients investigations wise, actual price list amount and amount charged to the patient. Helping in identifying those bills charged with special authentication. From this we can also view complete prescription / Bill.

1. Maintaining Personal relationship with Patient, Doctor, Company and Hospital.
-  Send the Diagnostic Patients report through fax / e-mail / internet
-  Some times the patient may not be in a state to come and collect.
2. Having a tie-up with Companies, giving them special discounts
3. Having a tie-up with Hospitals, giving them special Price Lists. Using the multiple price list maintenance.
4. Having a tie-up with Doctors and specialists, giving them special remuneration.
5. Patients: Give a smart Card, having memory, can remember patients history and various details. With this make them members, charge annually and give them a special discount on the services. And occasionally give them benefits.
6. Donors: Give a smart card, remembering his past visits information and other personal details.
7. Doctors: Give a smart card.
