Soft Desk

Soft Desk software is a complete data organizer for managing all your day to-day contacts, appointments, tasks, reminders, history, expense accounts, data masters, events/occasions recurring events in an MS Windows environment. It is a Personal Information Management Software (PIM) acting as a complete personal and official organizer for your company / organization or home. It's a power packed software handling from easy to extremely complex contacts, tasks, reminders and other day to-day functions of a busy secretary, personal assistant, executive, professional or even a housewife. Manage and organize your work through an easy to use Info Bank and a well-defined Address Management system. Set user permissions on the Info Bank and mark or add Appointments, Tasks, Events / Occasions to your contacts. Any job or work activity such as Appointments, Tasks and Events / Occasions can be independent or linked to a contact (either company contact or person contact).

Info Bank
  • This is a Set of company/person addresses pertaining to an Organization or an entity. All Business contacts, customers, suppliers, prospective customers or clients may be maintained as company contacts. A person contact may be a be a friend, a relative, an important person or even an individual client
  • The Info Bank that is created allows you to work and maintain all the contacts or addresses pertaining to that Info bank separately. Create as many Info banks as required

Essential Features are: Address book
  • All information pertaining to either company or Person is easily managed through User – defined multiple address book
  • The address book allows you to create user - defined fields to store information according to your need.
  • This offers complete flexibility, combined with simplicity and power.
  • User can create a text field, numeric, date or logical field defining the field name.
  • You can set defaults as Preferences of your choice.
  • These default values are automatically selected while the user is inserting or adding a new address
  • You can work on either addresses of either Company or person or both from an alphabetical list of addresses
For a given company, you can maintain
  • Multiple Addresses
  • Multiple Phone numbers
  • Multiple Persons with their designation
  • Multiple Fax, Pager, Cell phone, Internet or email address
  • Multiple Categories can be tagged for eg: addresses of all branch managers of a particular department may be maintained as a category

  • Address notes can be maintained for every single address
  • Contact history can be maintained
  • Follow - up on company (i.e.) on set dates

Info Collect

  • This is a power packed module offering multiple methods with different combinations for extracting address. Info collect offers all options for filtering data on all conditions both single or multiple conditions viz., for the category 'customer' and city 'New Delhi'. You can search and extract addresses based on category /items, country,
  • State, city, and area and user defined fields.
  • You can even search based on notes and history.
  • This data can be extracted with multiple conditions and combinations.
  • Extracted information in this manner is displayed to you as a Quick View.
Appointment
  • Set appointment preferences such as day start, day end, duration of appointment and alar
  • You may enter daily, weekly and monthly appointments - Every user (as defined in users setup) can maintain appointments.
  • Mark an appointment as done or completed
Tasks
  • This is a day to day function that can be used by every individual in any capacity to complete pending tasks on hand or to meet dead lines.
  • Any job or work activity can be independent or linked to a contact (either company contact or personal contact). It can be linked with the current Info bank or to any other Info bank in which contact exists.
  • Events/Occasions
  • Events may be entered and marked for a particular Info Bank based a date, frequency of occurrence, event , related to either a Company or Person contact and an alarm to remind you in advance of its happening.
Masters
  • Create master tables of information based on Category, Items or Products, Place, Address Description, Designations, Meeting agenda, Events or Title.
  • Use them to extract both Company and/or Person information

Soft Browser - lets you surf the net without leaving your organizer Soft Letter - That lets you create, select, edit and save templates of your letters and mail merge them with Soft Mail Merge  Soft Mail- Send and receive mail without opening outlook or other mail facilities  Project Planner - Plan and manage new projects.  Fast Address - An essential feature that searches and extracts required information on Addresses a glance.  Convert - allows you to convert a person Contact into a Company contact when Required.  Quick Dial - Dial desired numbers to desired locations with a simple cut and paste feature from My Contacts or Address Book.  Soft Loan - This is an Interest Calculator. It calculates interest amount on any amount for any period with any given interest rate.

Reports
  • Multiple format reports are available from Reports of My Contacts or Address Manager.
  • Appointments list, Tasks list , Events/Occasions list and Follow - up Report are easily available and may be printed.
  • This list can be printed for every user for a particular date, for a specified date range and for
    all dates.
  • Annual summary of expenses or Monthly expense reports can also be printed.
  • Print addresses onto different envelope sizes and labels
